Geert Wilders says Turkeys Trojan Horse not to be allowed to the EU
“We will not allow Turkey into the EU,” Geert Wilders, Chair of the Parliamentary Party (Party for Freedom), in the House of Representatives of the Netherlands said at the threshold of his upcoming visit to Turkey in January, according to the Hurriyet.
In his article issued in the Dutch «Vokskrant» paper, Wilders slammed the policy led by the Turkish authorities towards the national minorities.
The Dutch politician highlighted ten reasons con Turkey’s EU integration. One of the concerns he expressed is that Turkey is an Islamic country and its EU membership may make a way for the Muslim migration. It is feared that thus, Turkey will assume an influential position in the EU Parliament.
Wilders also highlighted that Erdogan-led government continues to make oppressions on the Kurds and the Christians residing in Turkey and rejects the Armenian Genocide.
Reminding that the Dutch people are against Turkey’s EU integration, Walders signified the preservetion of good relations with Turkey within NATO framework.
“Nevertheless, Turkey’s Trojan Horse will not be allowed to the EU,” Geert Wilders said.
